I’m Ariana Montoya, a first-generation Mexican American, proud single mother of three, and someone who believes deeply in the power of perseverance and purpose. I was the first in my family to graduate from college, and later went on to earn my MBA—an achievement that symbolizes more than a degree; it’s a reflection of the sacrifices, resilience, and ambition that have shaped my journey.
Currently, I work in hotel management, where I bring over 12 years of experience leading teams, improving operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Hospitality has always been a natural fit for me—I thrive in fast-paced environments where attention to detail, strong communication, and genuine connection matter.
Before starting in the hotel industry, I spent seven incredibly meaningful years as a university counselor. That chapter of my career allowed me to support hundreds of students as they navigated the challenges of higher education. As a counselor, I not only offered academic guidance but also served as a mentor—especially to first-generation students like myself—who needed someone to believe in their potential.
My background in both hospitality and higher education has given me a unique perspective on leadership, service, and personal development. I understand how to connect with people from all walks of life, whether they’re students planning their future or guests seeking comfort away from home. I lead with empathy, adaptability, and a deep commitment to excellence in everything I do.
Above all, I’m driven by my role as a mother. My children are my greatest inspiration, and every professional milestone is also a lesson I hope to pass on to them about hard work, integrity, and believing in yourself.
